Make sure it fits your vehicle. We bought this for a 97 GMC Sierra 5.7L. The plug is different. The one on the alternator has a rectangle plug inlet with corners, and the one on the truck is more oval with rounded corners. Found it using the parts finder from amazon. :/ Sent it back today, I hope they take it back with no issues.
