This alternator fit my 2002 ford mustang convertible v6 3.8L perfectly, it runs much better now. If you buy this part from amazon and install it yourself you will save tons of money...for this particular make and model ford, it is extremely easy to replace and takes about 15 minutes. Don't let some corporate mechanic company charge you $450 to change your alternator (this was the quote I got from a well-known car servicing company) because they are ripping you off.
