I can't say enough good things about this alternator. The price has gone up a little since I got mine four months ago, but it's still a bargain. This is an all new alternator, not a rebuilt. I went to Bosch's website and found out that these alternators have a lifetime warranty. This isn't mentioned in the Amazon ad but it should be. It was very easy to replace the old one with the Bosch. You must disconnect the battery first. I know that means more work on your radio presets and your burglar alarm, but if you don't you can get into a lot of trouble and maybe ruin the new alternator. You should also give your battery a full charge before firing up the new alternator. Theses guys are only designed to keep a battery charged, not recharge it. They'll do it but it puts a big load on the unit. Mine has been running great since I put it in and it should last as long or longer than the original.
